Campaigning against domestic violence
Elizabeth successfully campaigned for the Party to support a change in law regarding the victims of domestic violence. Women who come to Britain to marry British men are not allowed to claim benefits during the first two years of their stay and as a result are unlikely to be able to escape domestic violence.
